A few scattered showers are possible through some central and southern areas on Tuesday but overall the emphasis is on a lot of dry weather with bright or sunny spells for most. Pleasantly warm in the susnhine but many areas generally cooler and fresher than previous days. Highs 14C to 21C.
 

Tuesday Night
Many areas having a dry evening and night with clear spells and variable cloud. A cooler night than of late, especially in the countryside where it may actually end being rather chilly through into the early hours of Wednesday morning. Lows 5C to 10C.

 
 
 

Wednesday
A ridge of high pressure is forecast to topple down across the UK through Wednesday maintaining mainly dry conditions from the previous few days with some bright or sunny spells. Later in the day and some wet weather may arrive into more western areas as weather systems approach off the N Atlantic. Still pleasantly warm, but cooler than of late for most. Highs 14C to 21C.
 

Thursday
Rather deep area of low pressure set to track to the north and north-west of the UK through the day and this bring a more unsettled period of weather with a spell of rain moving south and east, heaviest and most persistent in the north and west through the morning, the rain lighter and more patchy by the time it reaches south-east England. Cool, but bright and showery weather to follow. Potentially very windy across parts of the north and west.Highs 13C to 19C, lowest in the north and west.
